It is a traditional festival in Japan.
It is the event which is held for girls in March 3 every year.We call it Hinamatsuri. Hina means dolls, and matsuri means festival.
Another name is Momo-no-Sekku.The history of this festival is very long.
It began in Edo Era, but just doll playing started in Heian Era.We display dolls and enjoy eating Chirasi-Zushi.The main purpose is praying for health and well being of young girls :)
We sing the song of the Doll’s Festival. It’s a very famous song, and easy to remember.After celebrating this event, it is said that we have to put back all dolls as much as possible.
If we do it later and later, a marriage also will be later and later :(

I’m going to talk about fast.
Fast means No eating. Can you be patient with no eating?
People can’t eat for 40 days.
Until Christmas Eve.
They can’t eat
meat, fish, dairy products, and sweets.
Dairy products are milk, cheese, butter, and so on. They only have vegetables or water.
Not all the people do it, but it’s a habit in Greece.
On Christmas day in the morning,
they go to church. The ceremony began in the early morning. It lasts about 1 hour. During the ceremony, people kept standing up and sometimes pray with the cross.
Then they receive bread and wine from priest there.
After this is done, they can go home and eat special Christmas dishes!!
